2. Provide automatic faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the automatic faucets will operate with a minimum cycle time of 10-seconds. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-09.
3. Provide a detail of the water heater installation, including the excess pressure relief, expansion tank, vacuum relief or other anti-siphon device, safety pan, and valves. Reference: Sections 503, 504, 606.1, 607.2, and 607.3, IPC 2012.
4. Provide a cleanout for the section of the building sewer located immediately downstream of the gravity grease interceptor. Reference: Section 708.3.2, IPC 2012.

01/19/2017 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Revise the mechanical design for HP-2 as required to avoid using the egress corridor as a return air duct. Reference: Section 601.2, IMC 2012.
2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the total capacity of the heating and cooling equipment serving the restaurant. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012, and Section 312.1, IMC 2012.
3. The ventilation and makeup air flow rates appear to be much greater than the specified exhaust flow rates. Show how the excess ventilating and makeup air will be exhausted. Reference: Section 501.4, IMC 2012.
4. Clarify the layout of the appliances under the two Type I hoods. It appears that both hoods should be classified as serving heavy duty appliances. Verify that the listed hood exhaust flow rates are appropriate for the proposed application. Reference: 507.1 and 507.2.1, IMC 2012.
5. Provide general room exhaust for any cooking appliance that does not require the installation of a Type II hood (e.g. toaster, microwave, pizza ovens, and soup warmers). The minimum exhaust rate shall be 0.70 CFM per square foot, using a minimum area of 100 square feet for each individual appliance. Reference: Section 507.2.2, IMC 2012.
6. Provide structural calculations and details to show that the Type I hoods are supported from the building structure in accordance with Section 507.6, IMC 2012 (the hood hanging weight plus the weight of personnel working in or on the hood). Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2012.
7. Show that the hood installation complies with Section 507.9, IMC 2012 with regard to a smooth, cleanable, non-absorbent, and non-combustible material installed between the hood and the wall, and extending 18" beyond the hood. Detail G/A3.0 does not show the stainless steel wall covering extending 18" beyond the limits of the hoods.
8. All of the combustion air for the water heater appears to be coming from inside of the building. Show that the installation complies with the requirements of Sections 304.5, IFGC 2012 for the room volume.
