Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment specified for the project. Use the exterior design conditions shown in Section 302.2, IECC 2012, as modified by the City of Tucson. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012, and Section 312.1, IMC 2012.
2. The manufacturer of the three Type I hoods states that high velocity HVAC diffusers are not to be installed within 10-feet of the exhaust hoods (see M6). Show that the equipment is being installed in accordance with the conditions of its listing and the manufacturer's installation requirements. Reference: Section 304.1, IMC 2012.
3. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fan, EF-1, to show that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted during the operating hours of the building. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2012.

01/13/2017 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Verify the minimum available water pressure for this address with Tucson Water; the data from Tucson Water appears to show a pressure range of 50 to 57 PSI. Revise the water pressure calculations as required. (Note that Tucson Water limits the capacity of a 1-1/2" water meter to 75 GPM.) Reference: Section 604.6, IPC 2012.
2. The specified backflow prevention device, Watts model 9BD, is not listed for ASSE 1022 as required for coffee machines or other non-carbonated beverage dispensers. Reference: Section 608.16.10, IPC 2012.
3. Provide cleanouts sized for the nominal size of pipes that they serve up to 4-inches. Reference: Section 708.7, IPC 2012.
4. Provide separate indirect waste pipes for each compartment of the 3-compartment sink and the prep sink to protect against cross-contamination or fouling. Reference: Sections 801.2 and 802.1.8, IPC 2012.
5. The minimum size for a vent is one-half of the size of the drain pipe it serves (e.g. the minimum size of a vent for a 4" drain is 2"). Reference; Section 906.1, IPC 2012.
6. Hand sinks in the kitchen are allowed to connect to the sanitary waste system instead of the grease waste system only if each sink has a sign posted above it stating, "HANDWASH SINK ONLY!
