Specify that the automatic lavatory faucets will dispense a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle and that the automatic faucets will operate for a minimum time of 10-seconds. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-03. 3. The specification for the hand sinks on sheet P0.1 calls for a 105 GPM aerator. The maximum flow rates for plumbing fixtures shall be consistent with ARS Title 45, Chapter 1, Article 12. See text at: (http://www.azleg.state.az.us/ArizonaRevisedStatutes.asp). 4. Revise detail 2/P3.0 to state that the thermostatic mixing valves are to be provided for the lavatory faucets. Reference: Section 607.1.2, IPC 2012. 5. Detail 1/P3.0 calls for the T&P relief to terminate to the exterior of the building; show how this is to be done. Reference: Section 504.6, IPC 2012. 6. Provide cleanouts for all horizontal drains; the cleanouts shall be sized per Section 708.7, IPC 2012 (i.e. 3" drains require 3" cleanouts, 4" drains require 4" cleanouts). Clarify the connection of the hot water return piping to the cold water supply to the water heater and the configuration of the recirculating pump and valves. as shown in detail 1/P3.0. 8. Hot water and hot water return piping shall be insulated even if they are not being installed in a return air plenum (see plumbing specifications on sheet P0.1).
