2. The water pressure at this location is in excess of 80 PSI. Provide a water pressure regulator at the meter if one is not currently installed. Reference: Section 604.8, IPC 2012.
3. Floor sinks do not contribute to the water demand; remove them from the fixture unit calculations. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
4. Provide fixture descriptions for all new plumbing fixtures. Reference: Section 402, IPC 2012 and Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
5. Provide an automatic faucet for the new lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the automatic faucet will operate for a minimum time of 10-seconds. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-03.
6. Provide tempered water for the new restroom lavatory using approved a device conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
7. Clarify the gas-fired cooking appliances being installed. On the architectural floor plan and equipment schedule on sheet A1 as well as on the "Total BTU" schedule on sheet P1, a 2-burner range is shown but this appliance is not shown on the gas riser diagram or the plumbing plan. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
8. Provide direct connections to the waste piping for the hand sinks. Reference: Sections 301.3 and 802.1, IPC 2012.
9. Provide separate indirect waste pipes for each compartment of the 3-compartment sink in the kitchen (25) to protect against cross-contamination or fouling. Reference: Sections 801.2 and 802.1.8, IPC 2012.
10. Hand sinks in the kitchen are allowed to connect to the sanitary waste system instead of the grease waste system only if each sink has a sign posted above it stating, "HANDWASH SINK ONLY! NO FOOD PREPARATION OR DISHWASHING ALLOWED." Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
11. The prep sink in the kitchen (24) and the mop sink shall discharge through the grease interceptor. Reference: Section 1003.3.5, IPC 2012.
12. Provide a specification for the hydromechanical grease interceptor shown on the plumbing plan. If it requires the installation of an external flow control device, show how it is to be installed in an accessible location. Reference: Sections 303.2 and 1003.3, IPC 2012 as amended by the City of Tucson.
13. Provide a vent downstream of the hydromechanical grease interceptor to protect the seal for the grease interceptor. Reference: Section 1003.9, IPC 2012.
