SHEET A2 1. 2012 IBC Table 509 requires that waste and linen rooms in ambulatory care facilities be enclosed with 1-hour fire-rated wall assemblies. Soiled Holding 127 and Medical Trash 134 appear to require 1-hour fire-rated enclosure. 2. With open grilles for direct outside air ventilation and with no mechanical space conditioning, insulate Oxygen 137 walls with R-13 minimum insulation and provide door with U-factor of 0.61 per 2012 IECC table C402.2. SHEET A3 1. New aluminum and glass entry 110 and window wall shall meet the following requirements per 2012 IECC Table C402.3: a. New glazed entry: U-factor = 0.83 and SHGC = 0.25 b. New fixed window wall: U-factor = 0.50 and SHGC = 0.25 SHEET A4 1. Door 101a and hardware set A do not exist on floor plan. 2. Per 2012 IBC 1008.1.9 egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge. Add this note to door 110. 3.
