1. What is the use and occupancy of the tenant space labeled "Adjacent Lease Space?" Per Table 508.4 demising walls may be required to be 2-hour-rated in this non-sprinkled building.
2. There is a step at the rear exit door. This does not comply with 1008.1.5 & 1008.1.6 that requires landings on either side of exit doors a minimum 44" deep in direction of travel.
3. In addition, per 1003.5 where elevation changes of less than 12-inches occur in a means of egress, sloped surfaces shall be used. No step is permitted at rear exit door.
4. Thresholds shall be a minimum of 1/2" high. Note on plan.
5. Front door must swing out in direction of egress travel per 1008.1.2.
6. Per 1008.1.10 provide panic exit hardware on existing rear door in food prep area. Signage listed in keynote 1.4 only applies to main doors in assembly area.
7. Provide door hardware schedule for all doors. Identify existing hardware where occurs to verify compliance with Code.
8. In new toilet room add 60-inches dimension form north wall to edge of lavatory per ANSI A117.1 Figure 604.3..

1. The majority of existing drywall ceiling in this space is to be removed per demolition plan. Per 2012 IECC C101.4.3, exception 4, no upgrade in roof insulation will be required if the voids between existing rafters are completely filled with insulation. If ceiling space is not completely filled with insulation, new roof/ceiling insulation must be installed to comply with IECC Table C402.2. Add note to sheet.
