05/24/2016 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Revise the location of the sediment traps shown in detail 6/P0.2 to be downstream of the appliance shut off valve, as close to the equipment as possible. Reference: Section 408.4, IFGC 2012.

3. The specified water heaters can each produce 5.4 GPM with a 70 degree Fahrenheit temperature rise for a total flow of 16.2 GPM. Based on the fixture unit calculations however, the hot water demand appears to be about 41 GPM. How will the water heaters be able to meet the hot water demand? Reference: Section 607.1, IPC 2012.
4. Water supply connections to beverage dispensers shall be protected with backflow preventers conforming to ASSE 1022. Reference: Section 608.16.1, IPC 2012.

05/24/2016 ROBERT SHERRY WATER REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Coordinate the size of the water service and water meter with the civil plans. The civil grading and utilities plan (sheet 6 of 17) indicates a 1-1/2" water service and water meter to the building.
2. Reduced pressure backflow prevention assemblies are required at the water meter for licensed, personal care facilities. Install the backflow prevention assembly in a location accessible to Tucson Water.
