2. Provide the minimum plumbing facilities required by Table 2902.1 and Section 2902.2, IBC 2012, for business occupancy (e.g. service sink and two drinking fountains).
3. The term "private" for plumbing fixtures applies to fixtures that are located in a residence or apartment, non-public toilet rooms in hotels or motels, and are intended for the use of a family or an individual. Revise the Plumbing Fixture Connection Schedule using public fixture units. Reference: Section 202, IPC 2012.
4. Provide an approved vacuum relief valve for the scheduled bottom-fed water heater which is located above the fixture outlets. Reference: Section 504.2, IPC 2012.
5. Provide pressure-absorbing devices for the water connections to appliances equipped with quick-acting or solenoid valves (e.g. clothes washer). Reference: Section 604.9, IPC 2012.
6. Provide an automatic faucet for the lavatory, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Verify that the automatic faucet will operate for a minimum time of 10-seconds. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson and Section 606.4, ICC/ANSI A117.1-03.
7. Provide tempered water for the new restroom lavatory using approved devices conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
8. The fixture drain serving an automatic clothes washer shall connect to a fixture branch that is at least 3 inches in diameter. Reference: Section 406.2, IPC 2012.
9. If the specified water heater is not supplied with integral heat traps, provide heat traps on the supply and discharge piping. Reference: Section C404.4, IECC 2012.
10. If the specified water heater is not supplied with integral heat traps, provide 0.5" of insulation with a maximum conductivity of 0.27 BTU per inch/h F on the first 8 feet of supply and discharge piping. Reference: Section C404.5, IECC 2012.
