Sheet 1 of 3 No comments. Sheet 2 of 3 1. In 4th paragraph of Scope of Work, specify number, spacing and size of nails that attach section rests to stringers (see Comment #2 below). 2. In 4th paragraph of Scope of Work clarify lateral retention system that “holds in” steel face panel sections, specifying existing parts and any proposed parts to be added, including nails (note that in previous submittal, the deletion of panel clips was accepted on the basis of not playing a panel support function and its original function having become obsolete; the lateral retention function that the panel clips appeared to have previously played and what substitutes for that function, however, was not addressed at that time). 3. In 6th paragraph of Scope of work specify the number spacing and sizes of screws and bolts attaching wood trim sections to stringers if the trim plays a lateral retention function for the steel face panel sections (see Comment #2 above). Sheet 3 of 3 1. In Face Panel Attachment (Top View), clarify the function of the 16d nail depicted and whether it is existing or not, and whether it relates to Comment 21 on Sheet 2 of 3. FIN. |
