Reasonable repairs and alterations are permitted for nonconforming billboards, not billboards that do not have a lawful status. The subject billboard does not have a lawful status due to:

1) the billboard height being in excess of the current limit of 16 feet and the prior limit of 30 feet in place from 1980-1996;

2) alteration of the original billboard by the addition of vertical beam extensions, thereby increasing the height, bulk, and functionality of the billboard;

3) alteration of the original billboard by increasing the number of wood horizontal face panel support stringers form three to four on each face, by replacement of the wood horizontal stingers with metal horizontal stringers, and by adding stringer support struts; and

4) alteration of the original billboard by the addition of illumination, installations of which are also in violation the Outdoor Lighting Code;

Please provide any information contrary to that stated above and that would support the subject billboard having or having had a lawful status now or at any prior time.
