The subject billboard does not have a lawful status due to: 1) the billboard height being in excess of the current limit of 16 feet and the prior limit of 30 feet in place from 1980-1996; 2) alteration of the original billboard by increasing the number of wood horizontal face panel support stringers form three to four on each face, by replacement of the wood horizontal stingers with metal horizontal stringers, and by adding stringer support struts; and 3) light fixtures being maintained in violation the Outdoor Lighting Code. Please provide any information contrary to that stated above and that would support the subject billboard having or having had a lawful status now or at any prior time FIN. This billboard is not subject to the settlement. It was permitted when constructed and reasonable repairs are allowed per COT Attorney's office. RW |
