Guidelines & Check list - the guidelines can be found at http://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/transportation/PIA_Guidelines_&_Checklist.pdf 16) Repeat Comment: Sheet 4 of 13: PAVING SECTION - Match existing pavement structural section or better. See plans I-98-51 and I-81-59B. Show percent compaction of sub base (scarify?). Use City of Tucson/Pima County mix numbers in Structural Pavement Section. 1 ½" Mix #3 3 ½' Mix #1 6' AB Scarify sub grade and compact? 17) Sheet 5 of 13: Include Detail for City of Tucson Thickened Edge Detail along edge of strip paving (2 Ft. wide and 1 Ft. thick tapering back to pavement section). FYI - Thickened Edge : A) 1 Ft. thick at outer pavement edge B) Taper from outer pavement edge of 1 ft. to match thickness of pavement structural section in 2 Ft. (easy to cut in with a blade) 19) Repeat Comment: sheet 6 of 13: Use City of Tucson Plan and Profile layout. Example: See Plan I-81-059B, Sheet 11, Plan View Detail B-B 25) Sheet 7of 13: Avenida Malcote - saw cut limits past manhole to the west of manhole - use same distance as that used on sides. 26) Sheet 7 of 13: Island Transition to Turn Bay remove angle points and replace with horizontal curves - Sta. 18+97.67 and Sta. 20+03.73 (see plan I-81-59B sheet 5 for reference). 30) Sheet 9 of 13: Plan View - Call out 48" RCP Culvert and Station and out. See comment 24 above. 36) Sheet 8 of 13: Auto turn data needed to justify large 50 Ft. radius.
