Each plan sheet is to list quantities and descriptions for striping materials including number and type of RPMs, lineal footage quantities of longitudinal and traverse striping, arrows, words and symbols (i.e., turn arrows, only, stop ahead etc.) - From Pavement Marking Design manual, Pima County/City of Tucson pavement marking Plan Review Checklist. Page 1-5 3. Show opening width of left turn bay on Drexel 4. Show sign and size of speed limit and stop signs 5. Bike lanes on Tucson Blvd. shall be 5 feet minimum. The following comments need to be addressed in the subsequent plan submittal. 1) Use City of Tucson P.I.A. Guidelines & Check list - the guidelines can be found at http://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/transportation/PIA_guidelines&checklist.pdf 2) See Pima County City of Tucson Joint Standard Details for drafting symbols & line weights. 3) Sht. 1 of 13 - First blocked note which reads "All Roadway, Parking lot,…standards will be used." Remove and substitute with the following - All work within the public Right-of-way shall conform to Pima County -City of Tucson Standard Specifications and Details 2003. 4) Sht. 2 of 13 - City of Tucson Paving Notes: 6. Add "a minimum of "prior to the wording "60 MIL" 7. Add "a minimum of "prior to the wording "90 MIL" 13. Remove 701 and replace with 701-3.08 & 701-3.09 "Note: Asphalt scarring…stripe."
