| 01/13/2016 | DAN SANTA CRUZ | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Please address the following electrical plan review comments, also provide a written response. #1. Please clearly indicate the physical location of all the electrical equipment on the plans. Include the DC and AC combiner cabinets or panels, load centers, inverters, meter bases, disconnects. Example; Plan sheet PV1, has notes 1,2,3, for equipment locations. Are they mounted on the wall? On a rack, outside the electric room, next to the exsisting service equipment? Note 4 reads, "Inverters located on the interior". Where on the interior? If in a electrical room, or other, provide more detail such as a floor plan or detail as to the mounting and relation to associated equipment. #2. Plan sheets PV7A, PV7B, PV8A, PV8B, PV9A, PV9B, shows the DC output conductors between the DC combiner cabinets and the inverters installed in 3/4",1" EMT. Does this mean they are installed above ground from the array to the building? Or will some of the run be underground? If so please indicate the wiring methods on the plans. Include conduit, conductor types and sizes. #3. Also on the plan sheets PV7A, PV7B, PV9A, Pv9B, only inverters #1 through #6 are shown, where are inverters #7 through #12? #4. Plan sheets PV7A, PV7B,PV8A, PV8B, The description for the DC conductors from the combiners to the inverters, at the bottom of the note reads, "SEE NOTE", what note does this refer to? #6. Add Warning Label per NEC 690.17, and apply at inverters equipped with AC and or DC disconnects and any where else applicable where this condition may exist. #7. Provide plaques to denote locations of equipment as required per NEC art. 690.56b where applicable. Ref: IBC sec. 107.2.1, 2011 NEC. |
