12/16/2015 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Please address the following electrical plan review comments, please include a written response.
#1. Provide warning, caution, or identification labels on all equipment that is part of the PV system including the transformers, and disconnects shown on the one and three line diagrams.
#2. The warning label #3 ( plan sheet E4.1 ) should also be applied at the inverter location, as the possibility may exist at the inverter or dc disconnect.
#3.There are no ground rods or grounding electrode shown for the 75 KVA transformer as shown on the other transformers.
#4.( a) Provide for disconnecting means and overcurrent protection of the transformers secondary conductors as required per art. 450.14, 240.21C-1 thru 6. NEC.
(b) It appears the neutrals in the systems are solidly connected in the transformer enclosures, this would disqualify the transformers as a separately derived system, therefore the neutrals should not be bonded to the equipment grounds as per art 250.30 NEC .
(c) Please clarify the symbol used for the ground and neutral terminations in the transformers; they appear to be separated between the dots.
#5. Please verify with a written response from the manufacturer of the service equipment that the methods used to connect the PV feeders at the supply side taps at the point of interconnections will not compromise the listings of the equipment, also provide a clear detail including hardware used to accomplish this connection, or provide for a field evaluation and approval by a NRTL.
