2. Verify that the proposed Type I hood is equipped to automatically start the hood exhaust fan when cooking operations commence. Reference: Section 507.2.1.1, IMC 2012.
3. Provide general room exhaust for any cooking appliance (e.g. microwave oven, toaster, egg cooker, etc.) that does not require the installation of a Type II hood. The minimum exhaust rate shall be 0.70 CFM per square foot, using a minimum area of 100 square feet for each individual appliance. Reference: Section 507.2.2, IMC 2012.
4. Provide adequate make up air for the kitchen exhaust hood. Reference: Section 508.1 IMC 2012.
5. Provide the total capacity of the bulk CO2 system (i.e. pounds of CO2). Reference: Section 107.2.1, BC 2012.
