Mabel Ave. Applicant: Ben Riehle This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. FOUNDATION PLAN/NOTES 1. Please notate the grade away from foundation shall fall a min. of 6" with in the first 10 feet. ROOF PLAN/NOTES 2. Specify double underlayment for Asphalt shingles on 4:12 or less pitch R905.2.7 3. Please show calculation for required roof ventilation area, R806.2 4. Provide load values being used to design pre- fabricated trusses for deferred submittal. 5. Show connection of post to beam at new porches, specify applicable hardware i.e. post caps if being used. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 6. All exterior walls shall be braced R602.10. Braced wall panels must be located within 10 feet of each end of each braced wall line and shall be no more than 20 feet apart, R403.1.6, R602.10.2.2. Specify method being used to brace walls ELEVATIONS 7. Provide ICC ES report number and product name for one coat stucco system R703.6. INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE: 8. Specify prescriptive insulation and fenestration values per Table N1102.1.1/R402.1.1 or submit justified analysis.
