| 10/15/2015 | DAN SANTA CRUZ | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Please address the following electrical plan review comments, please include a written response. #1. It is noted that the electrical drawings utilize 3 types of slashed lines and several types of solid lines to denote equipment or cabinets. Because some of the demo and new installation plans do not have plan notes or key notes, it is requested that a legend or symbols be added to identify each, as not all are shown on the existing symbols or legends in the construction documents. This will help clarify new, existing, and equipment to be removed, and or future equipment. This will also aid for field inspections. #2. Provide for GfI protection for service equipment ( Main OCPD )as required per NEC art. 230.95. #3. Provide for Ground Fault signaling devices for the EM Generators 1 and 2 as required per NEC art. 700.6 D, 701.6 D. #4. As per plan sheet E603 plan note #1, and per NEC 701.27. Please provide for a selective coordination analysis with all supply side overcurrent protective devices, approved by the engineer of record, and submitted to the AHJ. #5. Please verify the labeling of the HVAC feeders and 'DP' panels do not seem to correlate on the one lines, plan sheets E610 and E611. #6. Please identify the buildings associated with each grounding riser diagram shown on plan sheet E614. #7. The minimum font size allowed per City of Tucson Plan Submittal Requirements is 3/32", plan sheets E15-thru- E18. Because of the nature of the plan review comments, the subsequent review may generate additional comments. Ref: 2012 IBC 107.2.1,2011 NEC |
