The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Building Code and local amendments. Plans must be of sufficient clarity to indicate the location, nature and extent of the work proposed, 102.2.1. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. 1. Please provide structural calculations for tower installation that include the minimum size and location of the temporary concrete pier locations from the base of the tower they are supporting, 107.1. 2. Specify the proposed location of the temporary concrete piers (shaded limits will suffice). Minimum distances from the tower must be maintained for structural stability and maximum limits will be based on pedestrian travel, electric utility lines and/or property lines, 3108.2. 3.
