This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Building Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. 1. Please provide all measurements to include distances between proposed structures and the existing structures on the property as well as between the proposed structures and the property lines. Distances must be within the limits for the construction type and fire resistive rating, 406.3.2, 602.1. 2. Clarify the depth and length of embedment for the proposed caisson footings. Sheet 5 indicates 4' depth and sheet 6 indicates 6' depth. Pages 6.4 - 7.5 of the structural calculation packet were not included in the submittal so the footing design could not be verified, 107.2. 3.
