Provide accurate cross section references on sheet A5. Note: References to roof area details are still mislabeled for section 'A'. 2. When the roof pitch is less than 3:12 or ceiling joists are not provided, ridge boards must be designed as beams, R802.3. Note: Although this roof is greater than 3:12, it does not have ceiling joists providing the necessary tension resistance at the wall line. Therefore, the ridge must be self supported for this design. 3. Specify the size of the water meter and the diameter of the water supply line from the meter to the service entrance, P2903.7. The Tucson Water policy adopted 7/13/12 limits the maximum demand for a 5/8" water meter to 15 GPM; Reference Tables P2903.6 and P2903.6 (1), IRC 2012. Note: The additional water demand takes the maximum flow over the 15 GPM limit for a 5/8" meter. A ¾" meter will be required for the proposed demand.
