This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval.

STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN:
1. Provide structural plans for the detached storage buildings (sheds) that exceed 120 square feet, IBC 105.1.

PLUMBING PLAN:
2. The Tucson Water policy adopted 7/13/12 limits the maximum demand for a 5/8" water meter to 15 GPM. Provide minimum ¾" water meter for the proposed demand. Reference Tables P2903.6 and P2903.6 (1), IRC 2012.

MECHANICAL PLAN:
3. Provide Manual D calculations for duct design, M1601.1.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
4. Provide a GFCI protected receptacle to serve the kitchen island located within 6 inches of the counter surface, E3901.4.5, E3901.4.2/3.
