This site is in the HR-3 Zone. Historic review is required (UDC Sections 3.3.7 and 5.8.5). (This project needs to be scheduled for historic review.)

A single-family residence is a permitted use in this zone (UDC Section 4.7.12).

The minimum setback is the greater of six (6) feet, or two-thirds (2/3) the height of the structure's wall facing each interior property line (Table 6.3-2.A). The height of the wall of the proposed garage and detached sleeping quarters is ten (10) feet. The required setback to the south property line is six (6) feet, eight (8) inches. The proposed setback is five (5) feet.
