This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Include all applicable drawings for storage area adjoining garage and living room expansion at rear of residence to include structural, electrical and mechanical information, IBC 107.2.1.
2. Condensation control is required for the unvented roof assembly method. Specify an air-impermeable rigid insulation material sealed tight to the roof sheathing or spray applied closed cell foam to a minimum value of R5, R806.5.
3. Provide Manual J/S calculations for the forced air units in accordance with M1401.3, M1601.1.
4. Specify the header height of the 4' tall window located over cabinet spaces, R801.2.
