This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval.

PLUMBING PLAN:
1. Include the optional gas dryer in the total gas load calculation, G2413.
2. Size the gas piping supply for the total proposed demand including future appliances, G2413.1, Table G2413.4 (1).
3. Provide a minimum 1ΒΌ" water supply from the water meter for the proposed demand, Tables P2903.6 and P2903.6 (1)
4. Specify water conservation requirements: Water closets = 1.6 gallons per flush, Sinks = 2.2 gpm, Showerheads = 2.5 gpm, P2903.2.

INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE:
5. Condensation control is required for the unvented roof assembly method. Specify an air-impermeable rigid insulation material sealed tight to the roof sheathing or spray applied closed cell foam to a minimum value of R5, R806.5.
6. Indicate how the insulation value of R38 will be achieved in the 2x10 roof cavity specified. Fiberglass batt insulation requires a minimum 2x12 cavity to maintain full R-value.
