The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 1. Provide a minimum 48 inch braced wall panel next to the garage door or include provisions for an alternate braced wall panel as provided in section R602.10.6. 2. The maximum spacing between braced wall panels is 20 feet, R602.10.2.2. 3. Specify the sizes of all headers and beams, 801.2. 4. Provide a stamp from a registered design professional and lateral analysis for wood studs that exceed the prescriptive allowance of Table R602.3(5).
