Perry Av Applicant: Moses Thompson This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code and local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. PREVIOUS COMMENT: 1. Clarify location of braced wall panels indicated over window openings, R403.1.6, R602.10.2.2. Note: The braced wall panels that are located in the same location as windows will not qualify as braced wall panels unless they conform to the alternate panel design allowances found at R602.10.6. Relocate these braced wall panels so the minimum required width of the panel extends to the full height of the wall section without vertical or horizontal offsets or window openings (R602.10.2) or detail how the alternate provisions will be accomplished.
