02/18/2015 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide the installation detail for the proposed water heater referenced on sheet P2.1. Provide the dimensions (diameter, offsets, and total height) of the existing flue to be used with the proposed water heater. Reference: Sections 303.2, 501.5, 503, 504, 606.1, 607.2, and 607.3, IPC 2012 and Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
2. Include all fixtures (i.e. include the existing fixtures) when calculating the total demand and determining pipe sizes. Note that when using the IAPMO fixture units, the water closets and urinals are to use "Assembly" fixture units. Reference: Section 604.3, IPC 2012.
3. Coordinate the total number of water fixture units in the plumbing fixture schedule with the water fixture units used in the pressure loss calculations. Verify the demand figure shown in the pressure loss calculations; the system is primarily a flush-valve system. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
02/19/2015 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Show that the insulation for the new exterior walls complies with the minimum requirements detailed in Table C402.2, IECC 2012.
2. Provide structural calculations and details to show that the Type I hoods are supported from the building structure in accordance with Section 507.6, IMC 2012 (the hood hanging weight plus the weight of personnel working in or on the hood). Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2012.
3. Show that the hood installation complies with Section 507.9, IMC 2012 with regard to non-combustible supports, gypsum board, and with a smooth, cleanable, non-absorbent, and non-combustible material installed between the hood and the wall, and extending 18" beyond the hood.
4. Correct keynote 22 on sheet M.2 for hood type and the location of additional information.
