02/24/2015 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment specified for the building. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012.
2. The ventilation calculations indicate that the restroom exhaust fans will be operating continuously during occupied hours (50 CFM per fixture instead of 70 CFM for intermittent operation), the exhaust fan schedule shows the fans controlled by a wall switch, and the electrical plans show all of the fans controlled by occupancy sensors. Clarify the operating parameters for the exhaust fans. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2012.
3. Show how adequate exhaust for the kitchen will be achieved without circulating air from the kitchen through the rest of the building and then to the restroom exhaust fans. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (3) and footnote b, Table 403.3, IMC 2012.
