01/05/2015 | ERIC NEWCOMB | BUILDING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | 1. SHEET S1 (FOUNDATION PLAN KEYNOTES); STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS (SHEET 10): THE CALCULATIONS INDICATE 600 AWC X 20 GA.METAL STUDS AT 16" OC AT INTERIOR WALL STUDS FOR WALLS GREATER THAN 12' IN HEIGHT (UP TO 14' HEIGHT). IT APPEARS THE INTERIOR DEMISING WALL STUDS EXCEED THE 12' HEIGHT, BUT THE FOUNDATION KEYNOTE 2 INDICATES ONLY 4" METAL STUDS. CLARIFY. 2. GENERAL: VERIFY ON THE DRAWINGS THAT THE MEZZANINES MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE IBC SECTION 505. 3. SHEET G1; BUILDING CODE INFORMATION: THE OCCUPANCY TYPE IS LISTED AS B, WHILE THE PLAN ON SHEET A1 INDICATES WAREHOUSE FOR EACH SPACE. CLARIFY. 4. SHEET G1; BUILDING CODE INFORMATION: THE OCCUPANT LOADS ARE NOT REQUIRED AT THIS TIME SINCE THIS SET OF DRAWINGS IS FOR LETTER OF COMPLETION ONLY. HOW WERE THE OCCUPANT LOADS CALCULATED FOR A WAREHOUSE USE? VERIFY. 5. GENERAL: PROVIDE WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE REVIEW COMMENT. |

01/06/2015 | KEN VAN KARSEN | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Reqs Change | T15CM00077 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code (Ord #10963) compliance: Compare total fixture output to the budget based on property size and zone location (Table 401.1). a. Include all exterior (existing) fixtures within the property lines. The ordinance requires identification of each fixture type (both Full-Cut-Off and un-shielded); and fixture output based on a typical lamp lumen output at the maximum fixture wattage rating. Include landscape fixtures in the existing total and determine the qualified option limit. b. The rated color temperature of proposed fixtures shall not exceed 3500K, Section 402. Notate plans, or provide manufacturer spec sheet with color temperature rating. The 2012 Outdoor Lighting Code may be found on The City of Tucson Website under: www.tucsonaz.gov/pdsd; Codes, Standards, Ordinances & Guidelines; Building Codes. 01/06/2015 | ROBERT SHERRY | WATER | REVIEW | Reqs Change | Tucson Water limits the use of 3/4" water meters to a maximum demand of 22.5 GPM. The water calculations indicate a demand of 24 GPM; approximately 29 GPM if the HVAC demand is included.
