(T15BU01007). Remounting of electrical service components directly on I-beam instead of angle iron bracketing is acceptable and not deemed to be a relocation of electrical service. Request that note be added to permit in this regard. Sheet 1 of 2 No comments. Sheet 2 of 2 1. In 1st paragraph of Scope of Work, clarify the point and location of disconnect of the existing ½” EMT (presumably a junction box near top of billboard faces; if branch conduit to individual light fixtures is also to be replaced, clarify that as well). 2. Insert or revise paragraph(s) at appropriate location in Scope of Work to reflect removal of existing relay box, breaker panel, and meter socket box.. 3. In 6th paragraph of Scope of Work, clarify whether or not ground parts are replacing existing and if existing being replaced, also add paragraph at appropriate location in Scope of Work indicating removal of existing. 4. Provide manufacturer and model number of existing relay box and breaker panel and if still not available after further inspection, provide photographs of boxes with covers open. 5. Add standard electrical note: any excess fixtures, conduit, connections, wiring, or breakers, no longer being used to be removed. 6. Add standard electrical note: no junction boxes or other fixtures where wire connections are made shall be added or replaced other than those shown on the plan. 7. Add standard electrical note replicating Billboard Note #11 on Sheet 1. 8. In Description of Ballast, lamps should be referred to as very high output rather than high output. 9. Add note in appropriate location, clarifying that time clock enclosure shown in manufacturer’s literature not being used. 10. In panel schedule, revise time clock load to more accurately reflect actual load. 11. In West Sign Face Elevation, correct height indicated from base grade to top of face panel (overstated by approximately 2’3”). 12. Revise title in Title Block to authorized electrical repair. |
