This floodplain use permit may be subject to conditions or restrictions designed to reduce or mitigate the potential damage or hazard to life or property resulting from demolishing the commercial building within the regulatory floodplain, floodway or erosion hazard areas as determined by the project engineer and accepted by the City of Tucson. 2) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 3) All work shall conform to the approved Details and General site plan sheets for the demolition of the building, which are made part of this permit. 4) The proposed demolition must comply with best management practices and not track sediment offsite into the public right-of-way per the ADEQ permit. 5) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, and through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T15OT00169. FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550." 6) This Floodplain Use Permit and plans shall be kept in a readily accessible location on site at all times. 7) Any additional future disturbance or construction of the floodplain shall have separate floodplain use permit applications submitted to this office for review and approval. 8) See the associated activity T15BU00130. 9) This permit is specific to the improvements for 2110 N Kolb Rd as indicated on the approved plans. It shall not apply to any other structure or property, whether attached or unattached, not specified under this permit. 10) No work/activity for this site beyond June 1, 2015 (to avoid monsoons). 11) If there are any changes at site due to construction or other issues, additional review or permitting may be required. Contact PDSDS Engineering for any proposed changes. 12) Call for inspections of completed work to confirm that UST vents are a minimum of 5-ft above ground. 837-4934 13) Construction activity expected to last approximately 2 weeks for this permit, perhaps starting mid-February. |
