C. pavement from curb face for bus pullout. 3) Extent P.C.C. pavement 1 ft. past the break pt./ gutter line. 4) Investigate moving catch basins out of bus pullout (maintenance issue). 5) Truncate P.C.C. paving at beginning of transition. COT has found the small wedge area at the beginning of a bus pullout taper to be a maintenance issue. 6) Bus shelter pad and landing dimensions (length 20 ft. , width 10ft. 6 inches, pad thickness 6 inches) 7) Bus shelter pad and landing shall be located within the R/W. 8) Check with Sun Trans for location of pad (bus stacking). 9) Remove ½ inch skin patch between existing asphalt and P.C.C. P. bus pullout (1/2 inch finish course will be a maintenance issue with the buses, pullout and stopping at the pullout). Replace with full depth asphalt section - 2 inches mix no. 3 (3/8 inch stone) on 8 inches mix no. 1 (3/4 inch stone) on compacted sub base. Saw cut, match existing elevation, tack and join. 10) Profile Sidewalk 1) All public sidewalks along Forte Lowell Rd. and Oracle Rd. shall be in the R/W. If public sidewalk is located on private property need to dedicate R/W. 2) All public sidewalks shall be 6 ft. wide. 3) All public access ramps shall be located within R/W. If not need to dedicate R/W. Sht. 3 of 11 1) Remove- Pavement Structural Section No. 2 ( COT does not use a 1/2 inch lift when milling and overlaying. 2 inches is iminium lift used by City). 2) Likewise modify Pavement Structural Section No. 1 to have a finish course of 2 inches. Sht. 5 of 11 1) Investigate abandonment of R/W (private sign) midway into spandrel on the NE corner. Sht. 9 of 11 1) Remove painted non-standard crosswalk across driveway Lighting 1) Need lighting plans (conduit run, pole locations, pull boxes, and existing conduit). 2) Light pole at approx. Sta 95+00 shown on private property - need easement or R/W. 3) Light pole symbols need to be turned 180 degrees (face toward roadway). Storm Sewer 1) As stated under Bus Pullout comments: Investigate moving catch basins out of bus pullout 2) Sta 96+37.77 remove sump catch basin. Replace with interceptor type basin or move sump onto private property. Safety issue. 3) Need Profile 4) Storm Sewer Manhole on Ft. lowell - locate manhole within Public R/W Fort Lowell Rd. need plans for work in the public R/W. |
