Any work creating a different occupancy group for all or any portion of a building. 2. Any work creating a different building type for all or any portion of a building. 3. Any work that adds, alters, removes or penitrates rated fire or smoke control assemblies, exits courts, exit passegageways or horizontal exits. 4. Any work that provides for the relocation of more than five sprinkler heads. 5. Any work that modifies load bearing structures. REVIEW COMMENTS 1. After review of the three projects completed during the 2014 period, it was found that all three of these projects are likely to have have at least 5 or more sprinkled heads moved and or modified. a. Please confirm the sprinkler modification and if 5 or more heads were modified please provide copy of Fire Department sprinkler modification permit. TMC-CTI EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT 2. Structural design and work was completed on this project. a. Provide copy of permits for structural work b. Provide copy of structural calculations for all structural work completed. c. Provide copy of certification for special inspectors TCM-DINING ROOM 3. Accessible seating as required by the 2012 IBC, Section 1108.2 is not shown on the drawings. Please insure that accessible seating is provided for as per Table 1108.2.2.1. 4. The exit signs shown on sheet A3-1 are not properly positioned to reflect the exiting plan shown on sheet G2-2. Please insure that the proper positioning and arrow direction has been installed including the exit lights leading out the west exit door. END OF REVIEW |
