01/23/2015 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The City of Tucson has adopted the 2012 International Codes but the 2012 International Residential Code is not appropriate for this activity. Revise all code references to show the correct code and the correct code edition.
2. Provide water supply isometrics. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
3. The term "private" for plumbing fixtures applies to fixtures that are located in a residence or apartment, non-public toilet rooms in hotels or motels, and are intended for the use of a family or an individual. All of the plumbing fixtures in the church appear to be for public use; revise the water demand calculations using fixture units for public fixtures (see Table E103.3 (2), 2012 IPC). Include all fixtures when calculating the total demand and determining pipe sizes. Reference: Sections 202 and 604.3, IPC 2012.
4. Verify that all of the minimum plumbing facilities required by Table 2902.1 and Section 2902.2, IBC 2012, for places of worship (A-3 occupancy) have been provided.
5. Provide material standards for all plumbing fixtures being provided by others. Reference: Sections 303.4 and 402, IPC 2012.
6. Provide automatic faucets for the lavatories, dispensing a maximum of 0.25 gallons per metering cycle. Reference: Section 416.6, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.

01/23/2015 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide energy code compliance calculations for the additions to the building envelope; use the climate zone for Tucson. Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the additions to the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. Reference: Sections C101.4.3, C101.5, and C103.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
2. Show how the "Additional Efficiency Package Requirements" noted in Section C406, IECC 2012 is to be addressed. Reference: Section C401.2, IECC 2012.
3. Provide NFRC fenestration product ratings for the U-factor and the SHGC values on COMcheck or use the appropriate default U-factor and SHGC values from Tables C303.1.3 (1), C303.1.3 (2) and C303.1.3.(3), IECC 2012. Reference: Section C303.1.3, IECC 2012.
