2. The governing accessible building code for this project is the 2012 IBC, Chapter 11 and the 2009 ICC A117.1:
a. Delete all references and details to and from the ADA. This is a federal act and not an adopted COT building code.
b. Delete all ADA details shown and replace with details for the above stated accessible building code.
SHEET N102
4. Reference comment 3 above.
SHEET XC110
5. The calculations refer to a soils investigation report prepaired by Speedy and Associates. Please provide two copies of this report.
SHEET A213
6. As per detail D1, the accessible urinal is identified at the one on the left next to the 5'-8" lavatory wall. Reference detail A6/A503. This is contrary to 2009 ICC A117.1, Sections 605.3 and 305.7 which requires a 3'-0" wide urinal stall. Why not make the center urinal the accessible one?

01/26/2015 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Clarify the presence of a reduced pressure backflow prevention assembly for the irrigation water service within the building; a 1"reduced pressure backflow prevention assembly is shown adjacent to the irrigation water meter on civil sheet C-150.
2. Provide a vent downstream of the gravity grease separator to protect the seal for the grease separator (a vent is shown upstream of the grease interceptor on civil plan C-150). Reference: Section 1003.9, IPC 2012.
3. Based on the relative locations of the roof drains and the crickets between columns 4.9 and 7.1, the labeling of the primary roof drains and the secondary (overflow) roof drains is incorrect. Note that the condensate drain for the rooftop units needs to terminate over the primary roof drain. Reference: Sections 1101.7, 1108, IPC 2012 and Section 307.2.1, IMC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
01/26/2015 MICHAEL ST. PAUL ZONING REVIEW Approved

01/27/2015 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The installation of the rigid foam insulation on the exterior walls includes z-furring channels 24" on center. Explain how the existence of the parallel thermal paths provided by the z-furring channels allows the insulation to be considered a "continuous" rather than a "cavity" insulation.
2. Show that the proposed replacement rooftop units meet the requirements of Sections C403.2.2, C403.2.3, C403.2, and C403.3 (e.g. provide the mechanical energy code compliance certification from COMcheck). Reference: Section C303.1, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
3. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment specified for the project. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012.
4. Replot sheet M601 so that the Rooftop Air Handling Schedule is legible (many of the entries are over-printed).
5. Both the in-line carbon dioxide exhauster (sheet M103) and the up-blast centrifugal fan for the Type II hood (sheets M501 and M601) are labeled as "EF-3"; clarify the tag numbers of the fans.
6. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans (EF-1 and EF-2) to show that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2012.
7. Provide the quantity of carbon dioxide (cubic feet at NTP) that will be stored in the building. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012. (Note that a separate permit is required for the installation of an alarm system.)
02/02/2015 DAN SANTA CRUZ ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Approval subject to subsequent plan review due to potential Building or Structural changes.
2. Ref: Plan Sheet E106, E107, E108. Please address exterior lighting that exceeds 3500K color temperature. This is in violation of the City of Tucson / Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code.
