1. CODE REVIEW CHECKLIST
a. The front entry and South patio additions are new occupiable building additions that when complete will increase the overall square footage of the lounge building and increase the occupancy load by approximately 105 occupants.
b. Rework the occupancy calculations and the toilet fixture count for the newly added square footage occupancy loads.
c. With an A2 occupancy use and more than 100 occupants, Section 903.2.1.2 of the 2012 IBC requires a fire sprinkler system to be installed in the building.
d. Recalculate your total square footge building analysis and include as new additions; the front vestibule, the front second level display booth and the south bar area:
2280 + 265 + 185 + 1000 = +/- 3730 s.f.
2. CONTRACTOR'S NOTE
a. A building permit can not be issued without a complete set of construction documents that includes mechanical, plumbing and electrical design and construction drawings. Please include those with the resubmittal.
3. Because of the two building additions and the parking lot changes please apply and submit for a development package review. Please contact David Revera for details 837-4957.
4. Without a sprinkler system added to the building, a second level entry lighting galery is not allowed as per Table 503 of the 2012 IBC.
5. The project phasing is not acceptable until a DP package has been approved showing how all required exits are code compliant with the new parking lot configurations.

6. Show modifications for these two existing doors:
a. The front entry
b. Entrance door to the new addition
7. Show how the existing exit doors and the two new exit doors are code compliant with the parking lot changes.
8. Insure panic hardware is installed on all exit doors as required by the 2012 IBC, Section 1008.1.10.
9. Provide dimensions on the existing building plan.

10. At section 2, the minimum ceiling height is 7'-6" as per the 2012 IBC, Section 1208.2.

1. Provide electrical power and lighting plans including emergency powered lighting at discharge doorways, IBC 1006.3.5.
2. Provide a panel schedule showing both existing and proposed circuits.
3. Provide a Single Line Diagram of service if moving or upgrading the building service.
4. Provide a fixture schedule and calculation if changing more than 50 percent of the existing lighting load. Use a ComCheck report or Table C405.5.2(1) building area or (2) space-by-space for budget determination.
