This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN:
1. Specify 3x ledger materials when connecting to masonry walls, Figure R606.11(1).
2. Justify the proposed double 2x8 at the porch girder to support the proposed roof load.

PLUMBING PLAN:
3. Provide gas piping sized for the proposed demand. A minimum ¾" line is required up to the tee for the kitchen range branch line, G2413.1, Table G2413.4 (1).
4. Specify an accurate design length for the gas supply system on the gas piping schedule in accordance with the specified lengths on the isometric layout.
5. Provide a trap primer for the proposed floor drain, P3201.2.

MECHANICAL PLAN:
6. Provide Manual J/S/D calculations for the forced air unit in accordance with M1401.3, M1601.1.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
7. Correct the overtyping on the electrical layout to provide a legible plan.
