This letter reflects comments to be addressed. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Engineer of record must seal layout pages S1, S2.

INCLUSIVE HOME DESIGN:
2. Specify all switches, receptacles, and controls within 15 to 48 inches of the floor (To include thermostat controls), 1003.9.

STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN:
3. Provide post tension spacing consistent with the structural calculations submitted.
4. Provide bond beams in masonry screen wall with reinforcement per structural calculations.
5. Provide reinforcement in screen wall footing consistent with structural calculations.
6. Provide continuous footings under all interior bearing walls per structural calculations.
7. Provide ledger schedule as referenced on section detail 9-S6.1.
8. Provide minimum 3" nominal ledgers when directly attached to masonry wall for detail 4-S6.1.
9. Justify roof beam size for proposed roof load including HVAC equipment.

PLUMBING PLAN:
10. Show the size and location of waste cleanouts at kitchen sink and at the base of vertical waste stacks, P3005.2.

ELECTRICAL PLAN:
11. Show receptacle outlets at each kitchen counter space wider than 12" so that no point along the wall line is more than 24" from a receptacle outlet, E3901.4.1. Ref. between sink and range.
