3. Sheet A-1 Fixture Calculations: As presented with an occupant load of 455 (228 each, Male & Female), the basketball court area requires plumbing fixtures as follows:
Male: Water Closets; 4 required: 1 per 75 (228/75=3.04)
Lavatories; 2 required: 1 per 200 (228/200=1.1)
Female: Water Closets; 6 required: 1 per 40 (228/40=5.7)
Lavatories: 2 required: 1 per 150 (228/150=1.52)
Based on the drawings, it appears the occupants of the basketball court during non-school hours may only have access to Restroom 2 which does not provide the minimum number of plumbing fixtures required for the number of occupants indicated. Please clarify and revise as necessary.
