The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 1. Provide braced wall panels and a continuous footing under exterior wall located along east side of addition, R403.1, R602.10.2. 2. Clarify the proposed roof covering material for the addition. Details 1 & 2 sheet A-2 are not consistent. PLUMBING PLAN: 3. The IRC and UPC codes are not interchangeable. Revise references made to the UPC on sheet A-2. 4. Clarify the location of the 1" gas line specified on the Natural Gas Info table. 5. Indicate the location of the branch lines supplying the gas-fired range and furnace. MECHANICAL PLAN: 6. Provide a mechanical equipment specification list, M1302.1. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 7. Receptacles located outside the laundry area may not share the laundry circuit, E3703.3, 3901.8. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 8. Provide cut sheets for all FCO fixtures showing the angle of cutoff, light emissions and fixture wattage. Flood lighting is not considered fully shielded if the fixture is adjustable 104.2. INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE: 9. Specify the insulation material to be used that will provide R-38 in a 9.25" roof cavity.
