10/02/2014 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change According to the company literature, the Rockford grease separators (e.g. the GS series) do not require the use of an external flow control device but the Rockford grease interceptors (e.g. the RP series) do require the installation of a flow control device. Note also, that the Rockford RP-75 grease interceptor is not a listed product. [Initial comment: The specified hydromechanical grease interceptor (Rockford RP-75) requires the installation of an external flow control device. Show how this device is to be installed. Reference: Sections 303.2 and 1003.3.4.2, IPC 2012.]
10/03/2014 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. The use of REScheck (especially not with the 2009 IECC code) for the residential areas of the addition is not necessary; COMcheck can be used if the building areas are input appropriately. Provide NFRC fenestration product ratings for the U-factor and the SHGC values on COMcheck or use the appropriate default U-factor and SHGC values from Tables C303.1.3 (1) and C303.1.3.(2), IECC 2012. Reference: Sections C303.1.3 and R303.1.3, IEC 2012. [Initial comment: Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the additions to the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. The information on the drawings shall agree with the component descriptions shown on the envelope compliance certificate. 1. The building plans have been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. If the development package sheets are going to be part of the building submittal they will need to be the signed approved set or marked as reference only.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved development package. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
