07/17/2014 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Verify that the tempered water is being delivered to each restroom lavatory using an approved device conforming to ASSE 1070. Reference: Sections 416.5 and 607.1.2, IPC 2012.
2. Verify that the water in the service pipe will not exceed 8 FPS for the calculated water demand. Include all fixtures and water-connected appliances when calculating the total demand and determining pipe sizes. Reference: Sections 303.2 and 604.3, IPC 2012.
3. Verify that the pipe size called out for the water closet flush valves will not result in water velocities greater than that recommended by the pipe manufacturer (e.g. limit the water velocity to less than 8 FPS for copper, piping). At a minimum design flow rate of 25 GPM for a siphonic, flush-valve water closet, a 1" Type L copper pipe has a flow velocity of 9.7 FPS. Reference: Table 604.3, IPC 2012.
4. Provide separate indirect waste pipes for each compartment of the 3-compartment sink to protect against cross-contamination or fouling. Reference: Sections 801.2 and 802.1.8, IPC 2012.
07/17/2014 ROBERT SHERRY WATER REVIEW Reqs Change This suite is served by a 1" water meter and Tucson Water limits a 1" water meter to a maximum demand of 37.5 GPM. The water service demand appears to be far in excess of 37.5 GPM. Evaluate the water demand and make the appropriate modifications to either reduce the demand or increase the size of the meter.
07/21/2014 LEERAY HANLY ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Plan review has been completed and the following corrections are required. Please provide a written response to comments with plan re-submittal.

1) Provide 2012 IECC lighting compliance certificate.
2) Provide occupancy sensor for office. Ref IECC C405.2.2.2 or clarify in plans how office lighting meets exception 4 to section C405.2.2
3) EF 2 is designed for continuous operation while building is occupied (2012 IMC section 403). Clarify how routing of EF2 to double pole wall light switch in managers office ensures continuous operation.

07/22/2014 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment serving this suite. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012.
2. Show that the controls for the proposed HVAC systems meet the requirements of Sections C403.2.4 and C403.3. Reference: Section C303.1, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
3. Verify the cooling capacity of RTU-1. Units with a total cooling capacity of less than 65 MBH have SEER ratings but the model number and airflow of the specified unit indicates that it would have a capacity over 65MBH. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
4. Provide calculations to show how ventilation will be provided for the occupied spaces. Reference: Section 401.2, IMC 2012.
5. Make-up air ducts that attach to or are within 18" of the Type I hood shall be non-combustible and with insulation that is non-combustible or is listed for the application. Reference: Section 506.3.1.2, IMC 2012.
