The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2012 International Residential Code with local amendments. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide two complete sets of revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. FOUNDATION PLAN: 1. Provide a complete foundation plan that includes a continuous footing minimum 12" below grade for all exterior walls, R403.1 & R403.1.6. STRUCTURAL / FRAMING PLAN: 2. Provide a complete framing plan that indicates size, spacing and span of roof framing members, the location of braced wall panels and the sizes of all headers over wall openings, R403.1.6, Table 502.5(1), R602.10.2.2, R801.2. ELEVATIONS: 3. Provide elevation drawings for new areas. SECTIONS - DETAILS: 4. Provide a complete cross section drawing for new floor areas. PLUMBING PLAN: 5. Provide a gas line isometric and size the supply pipe for the connected demand. Include the length of line and BTU demand for each appliance, size of each branch, total demand, and total developed length from meter to the most remote appliance on the system, G2413.1, Table G2413.4 (1). MECHANICAL PLAN: 6. Provide Manual J/S/D calculations for the forced air unit in accordance with M1401.3, M1601.1.
