6. Item 29 used in the shaded area indicates the existing roof framing to remain whereas the structutral framing plan shows new framing members. Please reconcile.

7. Vestibule 33.12 is non-compliant with the 2009 ICC ANSI, Section 404.24. It must be 10-0" deep to meet 4'-0" clearance requirement.
8. Note 15 indicates a handicap ramp and to coordinate with civil drawings:
a. What do the civil drawings have to do with an interior building ramp?
b. On sheet A3.1, the slope of the ramp is indicated to be 1:20. as per ANSI 117.1, Section 405.2, a 1:20 slope is not considered a ramp. Therefore, no handrails are required. c. Please provide grade delineation and slope run dimensions on drawing to confirm 1:20 slope.
9. The new toilet room numbers 014.2, 3 and 4 are non-compliant:
a. As per the 2012 IBC, Section 2902.2, separate facilities shall be provided for each sex when the occupant load being served is 16 or more. The lavatory room is not separate.
b. Table 2902.1 schedules 1 lav for 40 men and 1 lav for 40 women not one gang trough lavatory for both.
c. Section 405.3.2 of the 2012 IPC states that the lavatory must be located in the same room as the water closet.
10. Provide a large scale detail of the ramp and landing in space 030.1 showing all the accessible requirements such as complete dimensions, floor/landing grade elevations, handrails including handrail elevations, slopes and landings.
11. Provide a large scale detail of the landing with steps of room 33.3 showing all accessible requirements incuding complete dimensions, tread and riser dimensions, handrails and handrail elevations, floor/landing grade elevations and landing clearances.

06/05/2014 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Demonstrate energy code compliance for the addition to the building envelope using calculations based on the current code. Reference: Sections C101.4.3, C101.5, and C103.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
2. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment specified for the project. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012.
3. Finish filling out the schedule for the split system heat pumps (i.e. include the missing data). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.

06/05/2014 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. For public toilet facilities, the required lavatory shall be located in the same room as the water closet. Reference: Section 405.3.2, IPC 2012.
2. Provide details showing how the mat washer area is to be constructed and the joint between the floor drain and the floor surface made to be water-tight. Reference: Sections 405.4 and 405.5, IPC 2012.
3. The water pressure calculations include a 5 PSI pressure drop due to the reduced pressure backflow preventers. Provide specification sheets from the manufacturer that supports that pressure drop. Reference: Section 604.1, IPC 2012.
4. Revise the water service and water distribution piping as required to accommodate the increased demand for water meter #1. Verify that the pipe sizes called out will not result in water velocities greater than that recommended by the pipe manufacturer (e.g. limit the water velocity to less than 8 FPS for copper, PEX, or CPVC piping). Reference: Section 303.2, IPC 2012.
5. Provide a full-open valve for the water service at the building entrance. Reference: Section 606.1(2), IPC 2012.
6. Buildings not located on the same lot shall have separate sewer connections. Provide justification for connecting the grease waste from buildings located on separate lots and utilizing a common grease interceptor prior to connecting to the public sewer. The drawings indicate that up to ten different tenants could be sharing the same grease interceptor. Reference: Section 701.3, IPC 2012.
7. The rim elevation of the next upstream sanitary manhole (2394.72') is higher than the existing first floor elevations (2392.50' and 2393.50). Provide a backwater valve per Section 715.1, IPC 2012, as amended by the City of Tucson.
8. Provide roof drainage calculations for the new roof based on the 100-year hourly rainfall rate for Tucson, 3" per hour. Include in the calculations the effect of any vertical walls that can divert rainfall onto the roof. Reference: Sections 1106.1, 1106.4, and 1108.3, IPC 2012.
9. Clarify the purpose of the new 5" metal gutter (roof plan key note #21 on a3.2). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.

1) Provide City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Code compliance information. Reference OLC section 104.2
2) Architect of record to ensure that Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing floor plans are coordinated with the reference floor plans. IBC section 107.2.1 (see vestibule 3012 area)
3) Descriptions of lighting fixtures noted under canopy do not appear to match locations. Provide cut-sheets for all exterior lighting fixtures.
