Previous Comment: Provide Manual J/S/D calculations for the forced air unit in accordance with M1401.3, M1601.1. Manual J and D calculations have not been provided for review. -The current plan set submitted for review does not include sheets GM-1 and M-1.1. Supplemental calculations previously requested were also omitted. 2. Previous Comment: Correct all mislabeled code references. -Citations to the IRC code sections pertaining to electrical requirements do not match the 2012 IRC. 3. Previous Comment: Designate the circuit number for each light fixture, receptacle, appliance, and equip disconnect on the electrical layout, E3703.5. Circuit designation is required in order to verify that the minimum circuits required for kitchen, bath and laundry areas have been provided for, E3901.3, E3703.4, E3901.6, E3703.3, 3901.8 - Bathrooms require a separate 20-amp circuit, E3703.4, E3901.6. - Laundry rooms require at least one 20-amp circuit that shall serve no other outlets, E3703.3, 3901.8. - Kitchens require two or more 2O-amp small appliance circuits to serve countertop receptacles. Such circuits shall be GFCI protected and shall not serve other rooms (except breakfast areas, pantries, etc.), E3901.3. - All the smoke detectors are specified on different circuits yet the code requires that they are interconnected. Please be advised this will require an additional conductor, R314. If you have any questions please contact: Clayton Trevillyan 520.837.4913 Clayton.Trevillyan@tucsonaz.gov Residential Plan Review |
