This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes or with a written response to each of the notated items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2012 International Residential Code and 2012 International Energy Conservation Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All engineers and architects involved in the design of the structure are to seal the related sheets of plans, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration. The City of Tucson adopted the 2012 IRC with amendments on 1/1/2012. Show the code references on the plans. GENERAL NOTES: " Limit all code references to those recognized by the City of Tucson. Adopted 2012 codes are listed at the Planning & Development Services web site. Show the code references used for the design. " Please make spelling corrections to sheet A1.1. SITE PLAN: 1. Show distances from structures to all property lines. FOUNDATION PLAN: 1. Identify where note #10 applies. 2. Note requirement for termite treatment. 3. Note soil bearing pressure. FLOOR PLAN: 1. Identify brace wall method for new addition. 2. Show window size in bedroom #1. FRAMING PLAN: 1. Identify trusses to be manufactured by state approved manufacturer. SECTIONS PLAN: 1. Provide option for metallic valley flashing. MECHANICAL/PLUMBING PLAN: 1. Identify method to provide return air in new addition.
