05/02/2014 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change On sheet A4.0, keynote 322 calls for the existing roof drain to be replaced with a new 6" roof drain. Clarify the extent of work, to include:
a. Is the existing roof drain leader being replaced also? If so, what is the size of the new leader?
b. Are the existing overflow drain and the attached overflow leader being replaced?
c. What is the area of the roof being drained by the new roof drain and overflow drain?
d. Does the existing overflow leader join with the existing roof drain leader at some point?
e. Where and how will the new roof drain leader and the new overflow leader terminate?
05/02/2014 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change 1. Clarify the keynotes 323 and 324 on sheet A4.0. Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2012.
2. On sheet A4.0 the existing roof access hatch is being abandoned in place (keynote 312); how will access to the roof be provided? Reference: Section 306.5, IMC 2012.
3. Provide energy code compliance calculations for the modifications to the building envelope; use the climate zone for Tucson. Provide sufficient detail on the drawings to evaluate the energy compliance of the additions to the building envelope. The information shall, as a minimum, include U-factors of the envelope systems and fenestration components, along with the R-values of the insulation and the SHGC for the fenestration. Reference: Sections C101.4.3, C101.5, and C103.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
4. Provide heating and cooling load calculations that justify the capacities of the heating and cooling equipment specified for the project. Reference: Sections C403.2.1 and C403.2.2, IECC 2012.
5. Show that the proposed HVAC system meets the requirements of Sections C403.2 and C403.3, IECC 2012 (e.g. provide the mechanical energy code compliance certification from COMcheck). Reference: Section C303.1, International Energy Conservation Code 2012.
6. Show that each heat pump meets the requirements of Section C403.3.1 (economizers) unless exempted by compliance with the efficiency requirements of Table C403.3.1 (2), IECC 2012.
05/12/2014 LEERAY HANLY ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change Plan review has been completed and the following corrections are required. Please provide a written response to comments with plan re-submittal.

1) Errata: PP E2.2 floor outlets noted circuited to 2PS-37,39 are noted as "spare" in panel schedule
2) Errata: PP E2.2 ckt run noted for 2PS - 46,48,50,52 should actually be 2PS- 48,50,52,54
3) Errata: PP E2.1 exhaust fan EF5 is shown circuited to 1LE-32, but loads are shown in panel 1ME-32 on pp E5.1
4) PP E5.1, pnl 1LE ckts 1,3,5 show existing circuits to be made "spare", but have labels and loads for a steam sauna that was not located in power plans.
