In addition, it is not clear how the flow control device for the grease interceptor has been installed or the downstream vent for the grease interceptor. Reference: Sections 905.4, 1003.2, and 1003.9, IPC 2012. [Initial comment: The addition of the hydromechanical grease interceptor for the 3-compartment sink appears to have the 3-compartment sink directly-connected to the grease interceptor and the grease interceptor indirectly-connected to the sanitary drain system. In addition, the existing floor sink appears to be hidden by the new grease interceptor. The 3-compartment sink shall discharge indirectly using an air gap and the grease interceptor shall be directly-connected to the sanitary drain system. A downstream vent is required for the grease interceptor. Provide ready access to the floor sink. Clarify the installation of the grease interceptor.
