04/14/2014 RONALD BROWN BUILDING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Reqs Change SHEET G-001
1. OCCUPANCY LOAD:
a. Your current Certificate of Occupancy allows for a maximum occupancy of 58. Your calculations below this shows a new occupancy of 39 (excluding the patio). This is just fine because the 58 is a maximum. A new certificate of occupancy does not have to be issued and the additional patio load of 13 does not effect the existing plumbing fixture requirement.
b. However, the actual seating layout shown on Sheet G-005 is not the same as per your calculated summary on the same sheet. Here you sumnmarized a seating load of 15 and are showing actual table and chair seating layout of 34. If the load of 34 is used in your calculations in lieu of 15, the total occupant load calculates to 58, exactly what your curreny CofO allows. Again a new CofO does not have to be issued and the only occupancy statement that needs to be included on the documents is an occupant load of 58 which is existing and as drawn on your floor plan.
